Information We Collect
Account & Profile Information
- Customer App: name, phone number, profile photo (if provided), and other basic account details.
- Driver App: name, phone number, profile photo (if provided), vehicle and license details (as required for driver verification).
Location Information
- Customer App: pickup and destination locations, and location used to show nearby drivers and improve booking accuracy (depending on your permissions).
- Driver App: real-time location during availability and rides, including route/location updates needed to complete trips and provide tracking.
Ride & Service Information
- ride IDs, ride history, pickup/destination details, timestamps, fare and payment status, and support/complaint messages you send.
Device & App Information
- device type, operating system version, app version, and notification token (for push notifications).
- basic diagnostics needed for stability and troubleshooting.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- create and manage your account
- process ride requests and assign drivers
- provide navigation and tracking features during active rides
- calculate fares, minimum fares (if applicable), and commissions/subscriptions (driver-side)

We do not sell your personal information.

- Between customer and driver during a ride (e.g., name/first name, phone number if enabled, pickup/destination, and live location during the trip).

Location Permissions
Location access is essential for core features:
- Customers can book rides and see driver progress.
- Drivers can receive ride requests, navigate, and share live location during trips.
You can change location permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work without location access.
Data Retention
We keep information only as long as needed to:
- provide the service
- comply with legal obligations
- resolve disputes and enforce policies
We may retain certain records (e.g., ride history) for operational, safety, and compliance reasons.
